What is nCase and how does it work?
nCase is an app for managing our legal work in one place cases,
tasks, events, files, client coordination, firm communication, and
legal updates.
We begin by creating a case record. From there, related tasks,
hearings, deadlines, notes, files, billing records, and updates can
stay connected to that case instead of being scattered across
separate tools.
Can we use nCase for free?
Yes. nCase has a Basic plan that lets lawyers and firms start for
free.
Basic includes the essential tools for organizing case records,
tasks, events, files, notes, client app coordination, Chat, Lexa,
legal updates, and more. Pro is available when our work needs more
storage, longer case visibility, and expanded firm flexibility.
Can I change my plan later?
Yes. You can upgrade as your firm grows, and we can help you move
to Enterprise if you need a more tailored setup.
What happens to my data if I move from Pro to Basic?
Your existing data stays in nCase, but your access will follow the
limits and inclusions of the Basic plan. If your Pro usage goes
beyond Basic limits, some features or capacity may no longer be
available unless you return to Pro.
Can we safely keep case records, files, and client information in nCase?
Yes. Security and safety are paramount in nCase.
Legal work involves sensitive case records, client details, files,
schedules, and firm activity. nCase helps keep this work in a safer,
more organized place through firm-based access and data encryption.
What does multi-firm access allow me to do?
Multi-firm access allows a lawyer to be connected to more than one
firm in nCase.
Each firm keeps its own cases, members, records, and activity, so
our work stays organized under the right firm.
How do we know which plan is right for our firm?
Start with Basic if you need the essentials for organizing cases,
tasks, events, files, and firm coordination.
Move to Pro when your work needs more storage, longer case history,
billing tools, encryption, and more flexibility.
Choose Enterprise if your firm needs a more customized setup.
